Years ago, I bought my first home. It was a fixer-upper, and I hired a contractor because I thought he would help me get the work done right.
I paid him, but he did very little work and left me with a huge mess. By that point, I didn’t have the money to hire another contractor and start over, so I had to learn how to make the repairs and finish the work myself.
People saw the work I was doing and started asking if I could help with their homes too. One project led to another, and eventually Michiana Veterans was born.
I learned in the Army what hard work, discipline, and integrity truly mean. Those values shaped who I am and still guide how we serve homeowners today.
