A Fixer-Upper Changed Everything.
In 1995, founder Marc Shudnow bought a fixer-upper in Chicago and learned the hard way how difficult it could be to find contractors who communicated clearly, charged fairly and actually did what they promised.
After being taken advantage of, Marc began learning how to make the repairs himself. What started out of necessity became decades of hands-on experience working with homes. Marc later became a home inspector, adding another perspective: look beyond the surface, understand the cause of a problem and make repairs intended to last.
Today, Michiana Veterans serves as the hub for our home-service divisions across Michiana.
